Rainbows Charity Concert – June 2018

A Tara Bodong committee member has returned from a recent trip to our school/nunnery in Lumla and informed us that the building is in urgent need of an extension to its existing retaining wall before the next monsoon season arrives. The wall protects the building from torrential rain and mud during the monsoons. (We think we are used to rain here in the Netherlands, but it is nothing compared to the rains they receive in Aarunachal Pradesh, which often result in landslides and damage to roads and buildings.)

Tara Bodong has organised a musical afternoon to raise funds for the extension of the wall with performances by Yoshimi Kawai (piano) and the Röntgen Trio (flute, oboe & bassoon).

Date: Sunday, 24th June 2018, 15.00h – 17.00h (doors open at 14.30h)
